Today I learned that Mahmoud Darwish the famous Palestinian/Arab poet died.

In further news the fiasco in Georgia and its secessionist area of South Ossetia is again bringing out the hypocrisy of world powers. As usual the civilian population is getting the brunt of things.

Maybe I will blog more about this later.
I'm back from a long hiatus. My laziness and apathy got the best of me. Well a lot has happened since the last time I blogged. Aside from the manifold social and economic problems that beset the world today...
